Madeleine Albright, the first female US Secretary of State, died on Wednesday after a long illness.

According to US media, the first lady Secretary of State Madeleine Albright was diagnosed with cancer and died on Wednesday at the age of 84.

According to the report, Madeleine Albright’s family issued a statement confirming her death, stating that “we have lost a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.”

US President Joe Biden has expressed regret over Albright’s death and ordered that the US flag be flown at the White House and other federal buildings and grounds by March 27.

Madeleine Albright arrived in the United States as a refugee girl from Eastern Europe. Lifelong Democrat Madeleine Albright was appointed Secretary of State by President Bill Clinton in her administration in 1996, before she also served as US Ambassador to the United Nations. Stay tuned.

As Secretary of State, Albright was the first woman to hold the highest office in US government history, but she was not born in the United States and could not run for president because she was born in Czechoslovakia.
