Washington: America linked the new visa policy with free and transparent elections in the countries.
According to the details, the US Secretary of State tweeted that he is announcing a new visa policy for transparent elections.
He wrote, “Today, I have announced a new visa policy to promote free and fair elections, under which visa bans may be imposed on those who interfere with the democratic process in Bangladesh. His family members may also be banned.
Today, I announced a new visa policy to promote free and fair elections. Under this policy, we can impose visa restrictions on individuals and their immediate family members if they are responsible for, or complicit in, undermining the democratic election process in Bangladesh.
