New Mexico: Another Muslim youth has been killed in the US state of New Mexico, after which the number of Muslim citizens killed in the state has increased to 4.
According to the American news organization, fear and panic has spread among Muslims due to the frequent target killing of Muslim citizens in the state of New Mexico. According to the authorities, the latest incident of shooting happened on Friday night in the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico, where Afghan refugee Naeem Hussain was shot and killed.
Naeem was killed in the parking lot of Lutheran Family Services, which provides social assistance to refugees in the state of New Mexico. Naeem Hussain, 25, was an Afghan immigrant who lived with his family in Peshawar and Islamabad before immigrating to the United States. According to police officials, when the officials reached the spot after receiving the information about the shooting, the person was already dead.
Four Muslims have been killed so far in different incidents in the New Mexico city of Albuquerque in nine months. A few days ago, 27-year-old Muhammad Afzal Hussain and 41-year-old Aftab Hussain, both from Pakistan, were killed in two separate incidents of firing.
The first incident occurred in November last year, in which 62-year-old Mohammad Ahmadi, also from South Asia, was killed.
Albuquerque Police Chief Harold Medina said, “There are indications that the shootings are related.”
A reward of 15,000 dollars has also been announced for the help of the police in finding a suspect involved in the murder incident.
