Amazon presents its “I Know What You Did Last Summer” series

Amazon presented its series on Wednesday "I Know What You Did Last Summer", one of the most popular horror films of the 90s.

The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel was the place that the digital giant chose for the red carpet of this series that will hit Amazon on Friday, October 15.

Sara Goodman has written this new series that takes as its starting point the book "I Know What You Did Last Summer" of Lois Duncan, the novel on which the tapes of youthful secrets, deadly revenges and bloody stabs were based on every corner of "I Know What You Did Last Summer" (1997), "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer" (1998) and "I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer" (2006).

This saga of "slasher", which benefited from the recent success of "scream" (1996), made Jennifer Love Hewitt a world star.

The "slasher" is a subgenre of terror that revolves around fearsome murderers who stalk and kill, one by one and almost always with bladed weapons, a group of people with revenge as the usual reason.

With a premise similar to those of the movies, the series of "I Know What You Did Last Summer" stars Madison Iseman, Bill Heck, Brianne Tju, Ezekiel Goodman, Ashley Moore, Sebastian Amoruso, Fiona Rene, Cassie Beck and Brooke Bloom.
