Amazon Business announces the launch of its new feature Buy Local in Europe, giving CPOs and their teams the ability to identify vendors at the country or even city level, make local purchasing decisions, and invest in local businesses. This feature is now available to business customers of all sizes on Amazon Business in the UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, and Germany.
With Buy Local, Amazon Business now allows you to highlight preferred local sellers through custom local areas and price caps. An organization’s buyers can view local procurement options among various competitive offers. This ensures that large companies can have hundreds of employees follow the same purchasing policy and easily find local supplies.
Invest in local communities
Purchasing Management has a strategic role in achieving the local purchasing objectives of an organization. In a recent Amazon Business survey, 90% of purchasing executives said investing in local communities was one of their acquisition goals.
