Singer Amaal Mallik’s family has addressed recent speculation regarding his relationship with Malti Chahar. The two are currently contestants on the reality show Bigg Boss 19. Mallik’s aunt, Roshan Gary, spoke out about the rumors.
Gary confirmed she was asked if Chahar is Mallik’s girlfriend. She stated that only Amaal himself could answer that question. She also expressed doubt that anyone else truly knows the nature of their bond.
Observing their interactions on the show, Gary did not perceive Malti Chahar to be her nephew’s girlfriend. She explained that if they were in a relationship, Amaal would have shown some indication. However, no such signs have been visible.
Gary suggested that many showmances appear on Bigg Boss, but they often do not develop into real relationships. Her assessment is that Mallik and Chahar are simply “playing Bigg Boss” as part of the game.
Malti Chahar, sister of Indian cricketer Deepak Chahar, previously mentioned on the show that she has known Amaal Mallik for a long time. This comment sparked the initial relationship rumors.
