Alyssa Healy asks for IPL for women

Perth. Following the announcement of two new IPL teams (Lucknow and Ahmedabad), Australian cricketer Alyssa Healy called for the Women’s Indian Premier League (IPL) on Thursday. On Monday, RPSG Group picked up the Lucknow team for Rs 7090 crore and the Ahmedabad team for Rs 5625 crore for CVC Capitals.

The 2020 Women’s T20 Challenge season has not happened due to the Corona epidemic, while the IPL 2021 season was held in the United Arab Emirates in the second phase after India.

Alyssa told The Australian on Thursday that it was personally disappointing that the Women’s Games were postponed. Regarding the IPL, she said that just as it was done in the second phase near the T20 World Cup, the Women’s T20 Challenge tournament could have been done in a similar way.
