Aly explained that the video of Jasmin in a burqa was filmed at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi. He shared that his sister and Jasmin were visiting the mosque. To enter, wearing an abaya, a type of burqa, is required. So, they simply bought one nearby and put it on to go inside. Aly mentioned that people took this simple act and spun a rumor. They started saying he took Jasmin to Medina, which was completely untrue.

Ganpati Utsav: Another Round of Criticism
Aly also faced backlash during the Ganesh Utsav. A video showed him not saying “Ganpati Bappa Morya.” People on social media quickly jumped to criticize him for this too. Aly finds it frustrating how people exaggerate small things. He clarified that he has always respected all religions equally.
“Religion is Personal, Not a Rule”
When asked about the questions surrounding Jasmin and her faith, Aly was very direct. He stated that their relationship is built on mutual respect and trust. He said, “Jasmin has been with me for the past four years. If she doesn’t feel like fasting or doing any religious ritual, I would never force her. It’s her personal choice.” He added that Jasmin also doesn’t try to make him do anything he doesn’t want to. Aly believes people should learn to understand and tolerate others instead of judging religious practices.
