The electric car scene just got a serious boost with the arrival of the Alpine A390. This sleek SUV is the latest addition to the prestigious “Dream Garage” lineup, and it’s clear that European manufacturers know a thing or two about crafting exceptional electric vehicles.
Unveiling the Alpine A390
Luca de Meo, the mastermind behind Alpine’s resurgence and Formula 1 endeavors, unveiled the A390 in Dieppe, France – the birthplace of Alpine. This marks the second model in the “Garage Alpine” plan, which promises seven vehicles by 2030.
Pierre Gasly, a skilled driver from the BWT Alpine F1 Team, took the A390 for a spin alongside Zinedine Zidane, Alpine’s ambassador and advocate for equal opportunities.
A French Connection
The A390 is the second 100% electric vehicle to join Alpine’s “Dream Garage”, alongside the A290. As a 5-seater fastback, it combines agility and performance reminiscent of the A110. With its roots in Dieppe, the A390 is a tribute to Jean Rédélé’s legacy.
The A390 boasts an impressive spec sheet, featuring three motors and cutting-edge technology from Ampere. It also integrates Mobilize Power Solutions for seamless charging, including bidirectional V2G charging – making it an integral part of a comprehensive electric ecosystem.
Price and Availability
The Alpine A390 is set to hit the market in the fourth quarter of 2025, with prices starting at €65,000 for the GT and GTS versions. The final prices will be announced when orders open in each country.
This new SUV is poised to take the electric car market by storm, and with its impressive specs and European craftsmanship, it’s an exciting time for car enthusiasts everywhere.
