Overzealous or simply protecting employees? The mayor of the Trinity, Ladislas Polski, wishes to impose the sanitary pass on all his municipal agents. An egalitarian measure according to him: “My responsibility is to protect the agents”.
Only problem: for the moment, the law only requires certain professions in contact with the public. This is why these municipal officials are refusing this decision, as staff who oppose it risk suspension.
The prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes was approached by the employees but also by the mayor. He must decide in the next few days. If the measure is validated, the controls will begin on September 20.
