All-NBA Quintets: Doncic, inside; Jokic, surprise

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander They appear this Wednesday in the best quintet of the NBA season, the league reported in a statement.

Gilgeous Alexander slipped into the stellar quintet after his brilliant season with the Oklahoma City Thunder, which he led to the play-in after leaving far from the favorites to reach the postseason.

The 24-year-old Canadian was averaging 31.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game with the Thunder.

Doncic was included in the best quintet of the year, despite the fact that the Dallas Mavericks lived a very negative season, in which they failed to qualify for the playoffs.

The Slovenian shone individually and his numbers were outstanding. He averaged 32.4 points, 8.6 rebounds and eight assists per game on Jason Kidd’s team.

Embiid, brand new MVP of the season, is not missing from the quintet, as well as Antetokounmpo, of the Milwaukee Bucks, and Tatum, of the Boston Celtics.

Antetokounmpo was the only one to be chosen as a member of the first team unanimously.

The second best five is made up of Jaylen Brown (Boston Celtics), Jimmy Butler (Miami Heat), Steph Curry (Golden State Warriors), Serbian Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets) and Donovan Mitchell (Cleveland Cavaliers).

Finally, the third team is made up of De’Aaron Fox (Sacramento Kings), LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers), Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers), Julius Randle (New York Knicks) and Domantas Sabonis (Sacramento Kings).
