The next title in the mythical saga Alien revealed its official synopsis. Alien: Romulus will be the ninth entry in the franchise (including both films Alien vs. predator and the duology Prometheus) is intended to be a true solo product, without necessarily being connected to the franchise’s other characters beyond the voracious and deadly Xenomorph, an acid-blooded Alien with an almost impenetrable exoskeleton who has hunted down many humans over the years. The film will be directed by the director of the remake ofevil Dead (2013) and don’t breathe, Fede Alvarez, on a screenplay he co-wrote with Rodo Sayagues.
Fox has released the synopsis for the new Alien movie, which will begin filming in Budapest on March 9. They also unveiled the full cast list who will be joining Cailee Spaeny And Isabela Mercedof which david jonsson of Rye Lane, Archie Renaux from Shadow and Bone, Spike Fearn from The Batman and the Newcomer Aileen Wu. The synopsis reveals that this group of young actors will find themselves in the sights of the Xenomorph on “a distant world”. :

The film intended exclusively for the streaming platform Hulu (property of Disney) seems to want to return to the sources of his saga. . Alien: Romulus strays somewhat from the more adult and militaristic setting of the earlier films, and instead seems to focus on the young, less experienced survivors trying to fend off the Xenomorphs. The first three films take place in the same timeline, although there are huge time jumps. WhileAlien (1979) takes place over a few days in 2122, Aliens: The Return (1986) follows Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) adrift and in stasis, 57 years later. 1992’s Alien 3 takes place shortly after, while 1997’s Alien Resurrection takes a big leap forward by following a Ripley clone 200 years later.
After that, the Alien franchise gets significantly more complicated. Movies Alien vs. Predator (2004) and Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007) are set on Earth in our time and are technically prequels, Prometheus (2012) and its sequel Alien: Covenant (2017) are also prequels but take place between these two franchise arcs, in the year 2089. will likely take place around or after Prometheus, given the need to have space travel technology in the film. Apart from that, nothing more is known about the chronology of this opus.
