Alex Márquez Wins British GP MotoGP SprintRace

Alex Márquez broke his brother Marc’s winning streak in the MotoGP sprint race at the British Grand Prix. He took the top spot, with Marc coming in second and Fabio Di Giannantonio in third.

MotoGP tweeted: “It had to be @alexmarquez73 who ended @marcmarquez93’s golden strike! #BritishGP”

Miguel Oliveira, a Portuguese rider, finished 16th, 19 seconds behind Alex. Earlier, Quartararo had secured his third pole position in a row but lost his lead due to a mistake.

Oliveira started 15th, still recovering from an injury that made him miss three races. Despite this, he’s getting closer to his old form.

MotoGP tweeted again: “@alexmarquez73 prevails on @marcmarquez93 in a hard-fought #TissotSprint #BritishGP”

Alex stayed focused, didn’t make any mistakes,! and slowly built a lead to win his first sprint race since 2023.

The main event is on Sunday at 1 PM Lisbon time.
