Alejandro Sanz began the second stage of the “Sanz en Vivo” tour on Saturday with a concert in the Navarra Arena pavilion in Pamplona (north) in which his stalwarts wanted to show him their support and affection in the face of the new personal crisis that the Madrid singer.

On May 27, Sanz announced a health problem from which he is trying to recover on social networks: “I’m not well. I don’t know if this is of any use but I want to say it. I’m sad and tired (…) Sometimes I don’t I don’t even want to be there”, although days later he qualified his message somewhat by stating: “Although the light does not finish coming, it seems that a firefly has woken up in my chest.”

During his concert, the artist has felt supported at all times by the thousands of people who have gathered at the Navarra Arena, with whom he has made an appointment for something later: “We’ll talk later, concerts don’t just happen by themselves” .

About to finish his performance, the artist thanked his followers for the affection shown during the concert, words to which the audience responded with a prolonged ovation, which Sanz received visibly moved.

“Never forget how important it is to be close to the people you love,” said the singer, who has pointed out about his state of health: “Let’s never try to find a reason for these things, it’s not for anything or anyone.”

The man from Madrid has recognized that this concert was his “litmus test” and, apparently on stage, he has passed it with flying colors.

In his opening concert of the tour, Alejandro Sanz has offered his followers a show lasting more than two hours in which, in addition to reviewing his greatest hits such as “Corazón Partío”, “Amiga mía” or “My favorite person “, has performed some of the songs included in his latest studio work, “Sanz”, which has been nominated for Album of the Year at the Latin Grammy 2022 and has been the best-selling physical album in Spain in 2021.

The singer has been on stage at the Navarra Arena accompanied by his band, made up of Mike Ciro (musical direction, electric guitar, acoustic guitar and Spanish guitar), Alfonso Pérez (musical direction, piano, keyboards, acoustic guitar and backing vocals), Carlos Martín (percussion, trombone and wind arrangements), Mirón Rafajlovic (trumpet, acoustic guitar and electric guitar), Helen de la Rosa (drums), Brigitte Sosa (bass and bass synth), Glenda del Monte (piano, keyboards and backing vocals) , Chris Hierro (hammond, keyboards, programming and backing vocals), Txell Sust (backing vocals) and Karina Pasian (backing vocals).

The followers of the Madrid artist have once again been able to enjoy the intimate and passionate live performance of a singer who has sold more than 25 million records and who in 2017 was awarded Person of the Year by the Latin Recording Academy, in recognition of his entire career. .

The world tour that the artist is carrying out in 2023, with more than 60 confirmed dates, has already passed through Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Uruguay and Argentina, reaching a total of 27 “no tickets” and more than 250,000 attendees.

The rest of the Spanish cities through which the “Sanz en Vivo 2023” tour will pass, until August 3, are Úbeda, Córdoba, Valencia, Barcelona, ​​Granada, Albacete, Madrid (with two major events at the Wizink Center), Málaga, Chiclana de la Frontera, Roquetas de Mar, Murcia, Alicante, Onda and again Chiclana de la Frontera at the Concert Music Festival.
