Aldi is significantly improving its mobile phone offer Aldi Talk. From February 15, 2024, all three Aldi Talk tariffs will offer significantly more monthly data volume and faster 5G support. Note: Aldi Talk uses the O2 mobile network.
At the Aldi Talk combination package S are available to users from February 15th. 10 GB available per month instead of the previous 6 GB. The price remains unchanged at 8.99 euros for 4 weeks.
The Aldi Talk combination package M will now offer the user 20 GB instead of the previous 12 GB. The price is then 13.99 euros for 4 weeks (previously: 14.99 euros).
The Aldi Talk combination package L even comes with a whopping 30 GB of data volume per month instead of the previous 20 GB. The price is then 18.99 euros for 4 weeks (previously: 19.99 euros).
All three tariffs will include faster 5G support from February 15, 2024. You will then theoretically surf at up to 100 Mbit/s (25 Mbit/s in upload) instead of up to a maximum of 50 Mbit/s as before. After using the included data volume until the end of the respective billing period, you can surf at a maximum upload and download speed of 64 kbit/s.
Flat rates for telephony and SMS sending are also included in all tariffs.
Existing customers also benefit
The new, higher data volumes will be available from February 15th. automatically also for existing customers.
First impression: A good offer
If you compare the new Aldi Talk offers, for example, with its direct competitor Tchibo Mobil (which also uses the O2 mobile network), then you can see how well Aldi Talk is doing. At Tchibo Mobil you only get 2 GB for 8.99 euros (for 4 weeks) including a telephony and SMS flat rate and 5G. 6 GB of data volume costs 10.99 euros and 12 GB costs 16.99 euros. The top tariff at Tchibo Mobile offers 20 GB and costs 21.99 euros. Tchibo Mobil also caps the maximum surfing speed at 50 Mbit/s.

How to get started with Aldi Talk
Each combination package is available with a starter set with 10 euros starting credit for 9.99 euros for 4 weeks. You can get the starter package in all Aldi variants and online at Aldi-Talk.
Watch out: In the period from February 15th to March 3rd, 2024, the starter sets only cost 2.99 euros instead of 9.99 euros. The starting credit still includes 10 euros. When registering the SIM card, customers save additional money if they select the combination package L with 30 GB. You then only pay the 10 euros of your starting credit for the first four weeks instead of the original 18.99 euros.
Additional 10 GB app bonus until April 15, 2024
Both new and existing customers can also activate 10 GB of additional data volume to the booked combination package from February 15th to May 15th, 2024 only in the Aldi Talk app at no extra charge. First, the data volume of the app bonus is used and then the available data volume of the booked ALDI TALK combination package.
