Alcaraz vs Cerúndolo: Queen’s Tournament Match Time and TV Schedule

Carlos Alcaraz returns to the court after a week of rest, following his victory in the Musketeers Cup on June 9. The Murcian is set to begin his grass season at Queen’s, where he will defend his title from last year’s inaugural edition. He faces Francisco Cerúndolo, the world number 26, in his first match of the tournament.

This is their first ATP circuit encounter, although the Spanish and Argentine players have a history of competition against each other. Alcaraz and Cerúndolo first met in 2019 during an ITF semifinal match in Palmanova, Mallorca. Cerúndolo won that match 6-2, 6-4, when Alcaraz was just 15 years old.

Despite knowing they would face each other in the first round, Alcaraz and Cerúndolo have maintained their close relationship off the court and have even planned a joint training session before the tournament. Their friendly relationship has not deterred them from aiming to win their match at Queen’s.

The match between Alcaraz and Cerúndolo will take place on Tuesday, June 18, on center court at 3:30 p.m. local time (Spain). The match will be followed by two other first-round duels: Lorenzo Musetti against Alex de Miñaur, and the resumption of Alejandro Davidovich’s suspended match against Alejandro Tabilo.

Viewers can watch the Alcaraz and Cerúndolo match on TV through Movistar Plus Deportes 2 (Dial 64) or Tennis Channel.
