Alba Bautista has been proclaimed absolute winner in the category of honor ahead of Polina Berezina and Cristina Korniychuk in the Spanish Individual and Autonomous Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship. Said appointment was held in the Pabellón de la Fuente de San Luis in Valencia between June 28 and July 2.
Total, 214 gymnasts from 16 different autonomous communities met in Valencia with the aim of being crowned champions of Spain in the different categories. In addition, this Championship has had the exhibition of the junior and senior teams of the national team that are in preparation for the next World Championships that will also be held in Valencia in August.
“This Championship has been the prelude to the World Championship. We are currently immersed in the preparation of what will undoubtedly be the biggest rhythmic gymnastics event of the year. It is a great challenge for the whole team that We face it with great enthusiasm and a lot of work”, commented Jesús Carballo, president of the Royal Spanish Gymnastics Federation.
