Al Nassr Qualifies for Asian Champions League 2 Round of 16, João Félix Stars

Al Nassr secured top spot in Group D of the Asian Champions League 2 and advanced to the knockout stages after a dominant 4-0 victory over Istiqlol Dushanbe, with João Félix scoring and assisting.

The Portuguese international opened the scoring for the Saudi club with a penalty kick in the 12th minute.

Félix later provided an assist for Senegal’s Sadio Mané, who netted the third goal in the 84th minute.

This crucial win marked Al Nassr’s fifth consecutive victory in the group stage, highlighting their dominant performance. Star player Cristiano Ronaldo was not present in the attack alongside Félix for the match.

Frenchman Mohamed Simakan doubled Al Nassr’s lead in the 40th minute. Ayman Yahya scored the final goal in the 92nd minute.

The victory ensures Al Nassr finishes first in the group with a perfect 15 points. Coach Jorge Jesus leads the unbeaten squad.

Al Zawraa holds second place with six points. Tajikistan’s Istiqlol Dushanbe is third, also with six points. India’s Goa remains at the bottom of the group with zero points.

Al Nassr will host Al Zawraa in their final group stage match on December 24.
