The “Housefull 5” promotional event in Pune took a chaotic turn when the crowd got out of control. Women and children were seen crying as the situation worsened. Akshay Kumar stepped in to calm the crowd, urging them to be careful and considerate.
The event, which was attended by the film’s star cast, including Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Soundarya Sharma, and Fardeen Khan, was meant to promote their upcoming movie. However, things took a turn for the worse when the crowd became unmanageable.
As the stars arrived on stage, the crowd surged forward, causing a commotion. The situation became so intense that Akshay Kumar had to intervene, appealing to the crowd to stay calm and be mindful of the women and children present.
In a video shared on social media, Akshay can be seen holding a microphone and saying, “Please don’t push. I request you all, there are women and children here… I appeal to everyone.” The other cast members looked visibly tense as Akshay tried to calm the crowd.
Meanwhile, Jacqueline Fernandez was seen comforting a little girl who had gotten separated from her parents and was crying. Jacqueline reassured the girl’s parents that she was safe.
Despite the chaos, the event eventually continued, and the cast members were seen dancing and playing with the fans. The film, which also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Chunky Pandey, and Johnny Lever, is scheduled to release on June 6, 2025.
The incident highlights the importance of crowd control and safety measures at public events, especially when they involve large numbers of people and celebrity appearances.
