OMG 2 Box Office Collection Day 1: Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi’s OMG 2 movie has been released in theaters and is enjoying great popularity among audiences. Critics also called the film brilliant. With the film hitting theaters before August 15th, it will collide with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 at the box office. Day one’s winning numbers are in and those numbers come as no relief to the stars and creators of OMG.
- According to the estimated figures, this film gets a starting shot of 8-10 crores on the first day.
- According to Bollywood Hungama’s report, this film has grossed 6 crores from PVR, Inox and Cinepolis. That is 70% of the total earnings. On the other hand, if we talk about the weekend’s earnings, this film can break the 33 crores mark.
- According to the trade analyst, this movie is promoted by word of mouth and has the potential to bring in sizeable revenue in the coming days.
- There are reports that the film has a five-day weekend until August 15th and the film will have good earnings from Saturday to Sunday.
Along with this film, Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 was released. Gadar 2 has a record box office gross of around 40 crores. The merit of the film is such that even Salman Khan could not restrain himself and composed ballads in praise of Gadar 2.
Dabangg Khan wrote on Twitter that Dhai Kilo Ka Haath and 40 Crores will be opened. Paji, you’re in the shadows. Congratulations to the entire Gadar 2 team!
ABP News gave Gadar 2 3.5 stars out of five and wrote, “When Tara Singh plays the gang of enemies in Pakistan and shouts ‘Hindustan Zindabad’, the whole theater erupts in applause.”
Whereas OMG 2 got four out of five stars. ABP News called the film powerful and wrote in its review, “Should kids get sex education, is it dirty to talk about sex?” OMG 2 is a great film on the subject.
