Akshay Kumar announced the upcoming movie ‘Gorkha’, a great look in the first look

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is once again ready to work with well-known director Aanand L Rai. After completing the films Atrangi Re and Rakshabandhan directed by Aanand L Rai, Akshay has now signed another of his films. The name of this movie is Gorkha. The film will tell an interesting story about the establishment of a Gorkha battalion in the Indian army.

The film will be based on the life of Major Ian Cardozo, who played an important role in 1962, 1965 and 1971. Speaking of the 1971 war, Major Cardozo was on his way to attend a course at the Army Service General Staff School. Defense in Wellington when his soldiers were sent to the battlefield. Major Cardozo was known as Cartridge Sahib. Unfortunately, in the 1971 war, Cardozo stepped foot into a landmine and had to amputate his own leg with a sheath as there was no doctor present during the war to treat him.

In briefing on the film, Maj. Gen. Cardozo said: ‘On the occasion of 50 years of the 1971 war, I am proud to share this story. Remember the story of the indomitable courage and bravery of the Indian armed forces. I will be happy to work with Aanand and Akshay on this movie. This story will tell the story of bravery of every Indian soldier. Let us tell you that Akshay Kumar will be playing the role of Major Cardozo in the movie, who you must have seen playing many patriotic characters on the big screen. Akshay has also shared the first look at the film while announcing the film. He has two posters for the film have also been released.
