Axar Patel has been named in the Indian team for the first two matches of the five-match Test series against England. Akshar's bowling can prove to be very effective for India against England on home soil. During the BCCI awards ceremony in Hyderabad, Akshar was asked about the secret to his bowling which he obviously didn't want to reveal. In fact, England coach Brendon McCullum was also present at the award ceremony.
It seems that Akshar is making a new plan against England this time but he did not reveal it in front of the England head coach. At the award ceremony, Akshar was asked about his bowling secret, which he obviously didn't want to reveal.
Responding to the bowling secret, Akshar said, “I don’t reveal anything about my bowling, it’s a top secret. I am very happy with my development. There are five test matches. I can't reveal anything because Brendon McCullum is here. We are telling you that Akshar bagged the title of Best Debut 2020-21 at the awards ceremony.
It is noteworthy that Akshar is a cricketer who has played for India in all three formats. He made his international debut via ODI in 2014. Akshar has played 12 Tests, 57 ODIs and 52 T20 Internationals so far.
He took 50 wickets in 23 Test innings and scored 513 runs while batting in 18 innings. Furthermore, he took 60 wickets in 52 ODI innings and scored 489 runs in 36 innings while batting. While Akshar took 49 wickets in 50 innings of T20 International and scored 361 runs in 31 innings.
