Air traffic has been disrupted due to an error in the system of the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

According to Al Arabiya News, thousands of flights have been affected due to a malfunction in the computer system of the Federal Aviation Administration.

White House Press Secretary Karen Jean Perry said on Twitter that US President Joe Biden has been briefed on the shutdown of the FAA system. She said there is currently no evidence of a cyber attack, but the president has insisted on an investigation.

The FAA previously said it was working to restore a system that alerts pilots to hazards and changes in airport facilities and procedures. The system provides up-to-date information. Implementation was stopped.

American flights have slowly started to resume after attempts to fix the system outage. The FAA had previously ordered airlines to ground all domestic flights after its pilot alerted the Notts Aviation Missions system.

The FAA said flights are resuming after a rush of air traffic from Newark and Atlanta airports. We expect departures to resume at other airports at 9 a.m. ET.

The FAA is still working to fully restore the NOTAM system after the failure. Although some functions of this system have been restored, the activities of the national airspace system are limited.

A total of 32,578 flights in or out of the United States were delayed as of 8:07 a.m. local time Wednesday, FlightAware, a flight-tracking website, said without citing a reason. Another 409 flights outside the country were canceled. Done.

Meanwhile, shares of US airlines fell in premarket trading on Wednesday. Southwest Airlines lost 2.4 percent, while shares of Delta Air Lines Inc., United Airlines and American Airlines were down about 1 percent each.

For long-haul international flights, the information can run up to 200 pages and includes runway closures, bird hazard warnings, and more. and may include items such as construction barriers.
