Air India and Nepal Airlines planes almost collided in the air, then what happened?

Kathmandu: Planes of Air India and Nepal Airlines collided near Kathmandu Airport, but escaped any major accident.

According to the details, the planes of Air India and Nepal Airlines narrowly escaped a major accident, foreign media said that the two planes came face to face near Kathmandu Airport.

Foreign media said that Air India’s A320 plane was coming up at a height of 19 thousand feet and Nepal Airlines plane was coming from a height of 15 thousand feet, but the Nepalese captain saw the plane in the opposite direction and lowered it to 7 thousand feet.

Nepali CAA has suspended 2 air traffic controllers and started an investigation, more than 200 passengers were on board both the planes that survived the accident.

It should be remembered that last year, 2 planes of the national airline survived a collision in the air in the Iranian airspace, due to the mistake of the Iranian air traffic controller, the two planes came face to face.

PIA’s Boeing 777 aircraft was at an altitude of 35,000 feet and another Airbus 320 aircraft was at an altitude of 36,000 feet.
