After two years, Donald Trump’s Facebook account is restored

The Facebook administration has restored the account of former US President Donald Trump after a 2-year ban.

Donald Trump was defeated in the US presidential election in November 2020. On January 6, 2021, during the confirmation process of Joe Biden’s victory, angry people attacked the House of Representatives building.

After the incident, the Facebook administration suspended Donald Trump’s account, but it has now been restored after 2 years.

Meta, the company that owns Facebook, said in its statement that if Trump violates the rules and posts inflammatory content again, his content will be removed initially. In case of continued violation, their account will be suspended for a further period of 2 years.

On the other hand, on the account restoration, Donald Trump claimed on his social media platform ‘Truth Social’ that Facebook has lost billions of dollars due to the suspension of his account and now it is being announced that the platform Restoring my account.
