The sequel to the 2001 film Gadar Ek Prem Katha has taken the box office by storm. At the same time, rumors are also spreading that Sunny Deol has increased his fee to 50 crores. Now the actor has responded to these rumors in a recent interview.
‘Gadar 2’ star Sunny Deol recently appeared on Rajat Sharma’s show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ on Indian television. Here he was asked about increasing his fees. Addressing these rumors, the actor said that he doesn’t do films for money. Deol laughed and said, “Paise kya lene hai nahi hai, woh makers ko… wahi dega hai jitne ushe ki nahi wo banaye sakte.” An actor also demands appropriate fees.
He was also asked if a box office collection of Rs 500 crore means the hero can charge Rs 50 crore. The “Gadar 2” actor said, “If the makers think that they can pay me that much, then I have no problem with it.” I won’t say no, I won’t, I won’t get that much, I don’t work like that. I like being in a situation where I don’t become a burden on any project.
Sunny Deol was also asked about Gadar 3 of the Gadar series. On this, Sunny Deol said, “I was scared to bring Gadar 2, I am ready for Gadar 3.”
