Media sources said the first case of the Zika virus has come to light in the Pune district of Maharashtra state in India, in which a 50-year-old woman has been infected while the woman also tested positive for chickenpox.

According to Indian media, since the beginning of July several cases of fever have been reported in the Belasar village of Purander Tehsil, in which a team of medical experts went to these areas and collected blood samples from 41 people, of which 25 were infected with chickenpox Three were found to be infected with dengue and one with the Zika virus.
Medical experts say the infection is spread by AIDS mosquitoes, which can also spread dengue and chickenpox.
Some of the symptoms of Zika virus infection are fever, body aches, muscle and joint aches, restlessness, or headache, and these symptoms usually last 2 to 7 days, but not all affected people have these symptoms.
