Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is making headlines these days for her mind-upmind movie Emergency. Currently, the actress has announced her new project in the middle of filming this movie. This time also another biographical film has fallen into Kangana’s bag. Following Jayalalithaa and Indira Gandhi, Kangana Ranaut will soon be seen playing the character of a veteran Bengali theater artist.

Kangana Ranaut has played many challenging characters on screen in her film career. Faced with such a situation, fans are also excited about each of her films. Of course, for some time now, Kangana’s films have not been able to show a special performance at the box office, but because of this, the actress has not given up on playing challenging roles. On this occasion she has gone to bring to the screen the biography of a great artist. This time Kangana will be seen playing the role of famous Bengali stage actress Binodini Dasi in the film which will be directed by Pradeep Sarkar.

Previously, Kangana Ranaut played the lead role in the biopic of southern actress and politician Jayalalithaa. Currently, the actress plays the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in Emergency. Following this path, Kangana is now set to play the role of theater artist Nati Binodini in her next film. Let us tell you that this mega-budget movie from Kangana has not been given a title.

Born into a family of sex workers, Binodini Dasi began doing theater at the age of 12. She made a name for herself at a very young age and is known as one of the most celebrated stars of Bengali theatre. She was popularly known as Noti Binodini. In a short career of just 11 years, she played more than 80 roles, including Sita, Draupadi, Radha, Ayesha, Kaikeyi, Motibibi and Kapalkundala, under the direction of Girish Chandra Ghosh.

Expressing happiness for this film, Kangana said: ‘I have been a great fan of Pradeep Sarkar ji and I am very happy to have this opportunity. Also, this will be my first film with Prakash Kapadia ji. I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of this extraordinary journey with these people. The film is written by Prakash Kapadia, who has written the story for such films as ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’, ‘Padmavat’, ‘Devdas’ and ‘Black’.

Kangana is now working on his directing project ‘Emergency’. Apart from this, she is also planning another Kangana movie, Tejas, in which she will play the role of an Air Force pilot.
