The spokesman said that our country is facing an economic crisis due to global sanctions, in this situation it is necessary to buy low-cost oil, the gasoline received from Russia is not only of good quality but also cheap.
The spokesman said Myanmar’s military ruler Min Aung had visited Russia last month, during which matters related to oil imports were settled.
He said that apart from this, Myanmar, China and Russia will also search for oil wells.
According to local media, petrol pumps have been closed in different parts of the country in the last one week, while oil shipments from Russia are expected to arrive by September.
