After European countries, Qatar also bans Chinese passengers

Doha: Corona virus has put Chinese travelers going abroad from China in great difficulty, after 15 countries, now the 16th country has also imposed a big ban.

In this regard, the foreign news agency Reports It has been reported that Qatar has also banned travelers from China from presenting a negative PCR test for Covid-19 from Tuesday.

The report states that regardless of the vaccination status of a Chinese passenger, a PC-artist should be taken within 48 hours of departure and the report should also be negative.

It should be noted that Qatar has now joined the 16 countries that have imposed strict conditions on passengers coming from China to undergo a PCR test and submit a negative report. Some of these countries have banned visitors from Qatar altogether.

Earlier, Morocco also banned the entry of Chinese travelers from January 3, citing concerns about the spread of a new wave of corona infection.

On December 7 last month, the Chinese government suddenly ended the strict procedures and restrictions in force to control the corona virus and did not even announce it in advance. The condition of and closure of borders was included.

Since the end of this strict policy in China, thousands of new cases of Covid-19 are being reported every day. The Chinese Health Department says that 24.8 million people, or about 18 percent of the total population, have been infected with the virus in the first 20 days of December.
