After all, iPhone 12 has reverse wireless charging

The iPhone 12 has functionality that Apple has never released openly sinceĀ until this week it was not possible to take advantage of it.

We are talking about reverse wireless charging, which allows iPhone to charge another device wirelessly.

The discovery occurred as a result of the Introducing the MagSafe Battery, which connects to the back of the iPhone 12 magnetically. This battery not only provides a charge for the iPhone 12 but it can also be charged by iPhone without cables.

Apple published a support document that reveals that The iPhone 12 can charge the MagSafe battery wirelessly.

IF YOU NEED TO CHARGE YOUR IPHONE AND YOUR MAGSAFE BATTERY, YOU CAN CHARGE THEM AT THE SAME TIME. CONNECT YOUR MAGSAFE BATTERY TO IPHONE, THEN CONNECT THE MAGSAFE BATTERY TO A POWER ADAPTER. IF YOU ARE USING A 20W POWER ADAPTER OR GREATER, THE MAGSAFE BATTERY CAN CHARGE YOUR IPHONE WITH UP TO 15W OF CHARGING POWER.

YOU CAN ALSO CHARGE BOTH BY CONNECTING THE MAGSAFE BATTERY TO YOUR IPHONE AND THEN CONNECTING IT TO A POWER SOURCE. YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHARGE THIS WAY IF YOU NEED TO CONNECT YOUR IPHONE TO ANOTHER DEVICE WHILE CHARGING, SUCH AS IF YOU’RE USING WIRED CARPLAY OR TRANSFERRING PHOTOS TO A MAC.

Therefore, iPhone 12 has reverse wireless charging, though this functionality is not available for use with other devices such as AirPods or AirPods Pro.
