Aftab Shivdasani is currently promoting his upcoming film, “Masti 4.” The actor recently shared a surprising anecdote from his career while discussing the multi-starrer project.
Shivdasani, who has starred in all films within the “Masti” franchise, revealed a prank played on him by co-stars Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi. The incident involved his new car.
During an interview with Mashable India, Deshmukh detailed how he and Oberoi once hid Shivdasani’s car on the set of the original “Masti” film. They managed to get the keys to his new vehicle.
Deshmukh moved the car from the parking area to a different street. He then discreetly returned the keys to Shivdasani.
After wrapping up shooting, Shivdasani was alarmed to find his car missing from its usual spot. His fear soon turned to anger when he discovered Deshmukh and Oberoi were behind the prank.
Shivdasani confirmed his initial frustration but admitted to retaliating with his own pranks on his co-stars later on. This lighthearted rivalry became part of their on-set camaraderie.
“Masti 4” is directed by Milap Zaveri, known for “Ek Deewaane Ki Deewaniyat.” The film is highly anticipated by fans of the comedy series.
The movie is slated for a November 21 release in theaters. It will face a box office challenge from Farhan Akhtar’s war drama, “120 Bahadar.”
