Afghanistan: Taliban shoots high to break up anti-Pakistan demonstration in Kabul

Several shots were fired on Tuesday by the Taliban during a hostile demonstration in Pakistan.

The situation is still tense in Kabul. The Taliban fired several shots into the air on Tuesday (September 7) in the capital to disperse a demonstration by dozens of Afghans who denounced Pakistan’s interference in Afghan affairs, noted AFP journalists.

Nearly 70 Afghans, men and women, gathered outside Pakistan’s embassy, ​​waving posters and shouting hostile slogans in Islamabad, near the new Taliban regime in power since mid-August.
