Afghanistan Cricket Board signed a 5-year mutual agreement with Emirates Cricket

The Afghanistan Cricket Board and the Emirates Cricket Board have signed a mutual agreement for 5 years. Based on this historic agreement, the ACB will host its home matches and will also have access to top-tier venues in the United Arab Emirates. As a mutual agreement, Afghanistan will also play a series of three international T20 matches with the United Arab Emirates national team each year. In exchange, Emirates Cricket Board will provide you with facilities such as visa in addition to office space.

Afghanistan Cricket Board CEO Naseeb Khan accepted the cooperation agreement between the two countries. He expressed his confidence that this agreement will be beneficial. This will greatly benefit future goals. Mubasshir Usmani, Secretary General of the Emirates Cricket Board, said: “There have been cordial relations between the Emirates and the Afghanistan Cricket Board for a long time. We are happy to support ACB in having a home for their cricket. We thank the ACB for agreeing to play three T20 matches against Afghanistan each year. This will give our UAE team experience that will aid in growth.

Currently, the Afghanistan cricket team is on tour in Sri Lanka. The Afghan team is playing a series of three ODIs there. In this series, the Afghanistan team is just one step away from making history. Afghanistan defeated Sri Lanka by 60 runs in the ODI match played on 25 November. The guests scored 294 runs for 8 wickets while playing first. Chasing the target, the Sri Lankan team did it all after scoring 234 runs in 38 overs. If Afghanistan win the second game, it will be a historic moment for them.
