Afghanistan Creates History Scoring 325 Against England In ICC Champions Trophy 2025

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has witnessed a historic moment, courtesy of the Afghanistan team. In their match against England, Afghanistan scored an impressive 325 runs, thanks to opener Ibrahim Jadaran’s explosive century. Jadaran’s remarkable performance saw him play a 150-plus innings, a crucial factor in Afghanistan’s huge score. The team’s captain, Hashmatullah Shaheedi, contributed 40 runs, while Ajmatullah Umarjai and Mohammad Nabi added 41 and 40 runs, respectively.

It’s worth noting that this achievement marks a first for the Afghanistan team in the ICC tournament, where they have scored over 300 runs. Their previous highest score in the ICC was 291/5 runs in 2023 at the ODI World Cup against Australia at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. In that match, Jadaran scored an unbeaten 129 runs for Afghanistan, although the team ultimately lost to Australia.

Some of Afghanistan’s notable scores in ICC events include:
