Aerolineas Argentinas will fly to Doha for the World Cup in Qatar

From Argentinian airlines announced that during the World Cup, to be held in Qatar in November, the company will add six flights to Doha.

In principle they will be six flights, two for each group stage match, but more frequencies could be added depending on the demand, the authorities of the flag carrier pointed out.

The first flight will be November 19th departing from Ezeiza International Airport at 3:25 p.m., arriving at 8:40 a.m. in Rome -where it will make a one-hour layover- and then continue to Doha where it plans to land at 5:05 p.m.

The second flight will repeat the same schedule, the next day, while the rest will do the same on the days November 23, 24, 27 and 28.

The returns, also with a stopover in Rome, will leave one and two days after each game, with departure time from Doha at 12:00 and arrival in Buenos Aires at 3:45.

The operation will be carried out with Airbus 330-200 aircraft with capacity for 270 passengers and in total there will be about 19 hours of flight to the final destination. Passengers will be able to choose to buy the tickets in a combined way for one, two or three matches.

“This operation is a good opportunity to generate extra income and it is also very special because of the passion that soccer awakens in Argentines,” said Pablo Ceriani, president of Aerolineas Argentinas.

Fabián Lombardo, commercial director of the airline, assured that “we are offering a good product and the fastest and most convenient way to get to Qatar. We are sure that the demand will accompany us.”
