Advertising Investment Update for October 2024
The latest report from Infoadex reveals that advertising investment has reached an impressive 678.5 million euros in October 2024, marking a 3.4% increase from the same period in 2023.
Digital Advertising Takes the Lead
Digital advertising has emerged as the leader in terms of volume, with a total investment of 346.6 million euros. This represents a 3.2% growth compared to October 2023. Within the digital advertising sector, websites have shown the most significant growth, increasing by 7.9% to 134.2 million euros.
Social Networks and Search Advertising Performance
Social networks have also experienced a notable increase in investment, with a 3.5% growth to 91.7 million euros. In contrast, search advertising has seen a decrease of 1.8% to 120.7 million euros compared to the same period in 2023.
Other Advertising Mediums
Television ranks second in terms of advertising investment, with a total of 182.1 million euros, representing a 0.5% decrease from October 2023. Abroad, which occupies third place, has seen a significant growth of 9.4% to 50.8 million euros.
Radio and print media also experienced growth, with Radio increasing by 12.3% to 50.7 million euros and Daily and Sunday increasing by 5.8% to 33.6 million euros. Magazines saw a 1.9% increase to 11.6 million euros, while Cinema registered a significant growth of 36% to 3.1 million euros.
These findings demonstrate a dynamic and evolving advertising landscape, with digital platforms continuing to dominate the market.
