The new action camera has just been announced and now includes a more powerful GP2 processor and 5.3K video. Depending on the brand, performance is better and navigation and use more agile, thanks to this processor.
On the brand’s website in Portugal, the cost is 429 euros if you buy the camera together with a GoPro subscription valid for one year. The unsigned model has a cost of 579 euros.
The Hero 10 Black is also equipped with HyperSmooth 4.0 stabilization that promises to capture smoother, shake-free videos. Photos are captured at 23 megapixel resolution.
Hero 10 Black with cloud connection
As already mentioned, the latest Go Pro can capture video in better quality than 4K, more specifically 5.3K but only at 60 frames per second. If you want to speed things up a bit, you can shoot at 240 frames per second, but the resolution drops to 2.7K.
Another feature of this radical camera is that it is also connected to the cloud. Once the upload function is activated, Go Pro automatically uploads the most recently captured photos to the cloud. You can add this feature to an unlimited cloud backup, but for that you will have to become a GoPro subscriber and pay a monthly or annual fee.
As usual, the camera body is robust to tackle the most extreme activities and offers a water resistance of up to 10 meters. It also has voice control for 13 different commands in 11 different languages. The three built-in microphones feature advanced wind noise reduction.
With a 1080p webcam, the GoPro Hero 10 Black also lets you take 19.6 megapixel photos of 5K video at 30 fps. This can be very useful if you want to have a still image of a video that you shot.
