The current European champion and Olympic runner-up, Adriana Cerezo, leads the Spanish team that will compete from this Tuesday in the European Under-21 Championships to be played in Tallinn (Estonia).
The Madrid champion, who will compete in the -49 kilos category, will enter the competition on Thursday, in what will be his first official test after the success of Tokyo.
Adriana Cerezo has prepared this competition at the CAR Infanta Cristina de Los Alcázares (Murcia) along with the rest of the large Spanish expedition that will compete in Estonia.
The Spanish team, formed by forty athletes between the Under-21s and the cadets, aspires to maintain the level of Spanish taekwondo at the highest level.
In addition to Adriana, other competitors with a series of medal options are like the Valencians Hugo Arillo (-58 kilos) and Anastasia Ignatyev (-57), the Castilian-La Mancha Laura Rodriguez and the Galicians Tania castiñeira (+73 kilos) and Pablo Patiño (-68 kilos), among others.
