Adrián Huertas, SSP300 champion, makes the leap to Supersport

Adrián Huertas, brand new champion of Supersport 300 this same year, it will jump in 2022 to Supersport, intermediate category of the World Superbike. The 18-year-old from Madrid will continue with his team, the MTM Kawasaki, with which in 2021 he has achieved six victories, another two podiums and three poles to certify the title.

“I am very happy to announce that I will continue with the MTM and Kawasaki team in 2022. We have had a very successful season together and I am looking forward to continuing. It’s a new challenge and I want to thank Ludo (team manager) for this opportunity. Let’s grow together in World Supersport and it’s great that he can take this step into a new category in the WorldSBK paddock. I will continue to work very hard, as I have done this past season.
