Petitioner Raj Gaurav has argued that the religious sentiments of the Hindu community have been hurt by wrongly portraying the characters of Lord Rama and Hanuman in the film ‘Adipurush’.

The petitioner has further stated in his petition that under the pretext of freedom of expression, the original form of an epic such as the Ramayana cannot be manipulated. He said that actually the traditional image of Lord Ram is a quiet love, while in the preview movie Adipurush, he is shown as a tyrannical, vindictive and angry person.
