Adam Sandler’s Daughters Sadie, Sunny Act in His Films; Dad Expresses Pride

When it comes to making movies, Adam Sandler has truly made it a family affair. This comedy superstar loves to keep his loved ones close, even when the cameras are rolling on his big screen hits.

Adam’s wife, Jackie Sandler, actually started getting small parts in his movies long before they tied the knot back in 2003. It seems to be a tradition he enjoys, as their two daughters, Sadie and Sunny, have followed right in her footsteps.

Sadie, who joined the family in May 2006, and Sunny, born in November 2008, have basically grown up on set. They’ve been acting in their dad’s films since they were tiny tots. These young stars had their biggest roles yet in Adam’s 2023 comedy, You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah. And get this: all three Sandlers are set to appear in the epic 2025 movie Happy Gilmore 2. They’ll be sharing the screen with some other big names, too, including Travis Kelce, Ben Stiller, Bad Bunny, and Margaret Qualley.

Adam himself couldn’t be prouder. He gushed about his daughters’ growing acting careers in a July 2025 chat with USA Today. He loves seeing them embrace the world of film.

“Everything is happening so fast,” Adam told the newspaper. “The kids are growing up, they’re really interested in acting and film, and it’s always been our thing to work with friends and family. It’s great to see them get better. They work very hard and go to school for it, and they love it. So yes, I’m proud. I couldn’t love them more.” It’s clear that for the Sandlers, movie-making is more than just a job; it’s a shared passion that brings them closer.
