Actress Sonal Chauhan has officially joined the cast of the highly anticipated action-drama ‘Mirzapur: The Film.’ Chauhan made the announcement herself through a post on her social media channels.
The film, directed by Gurmmeet Singh, is a separate venture from the popular ‘Mirzapur’ web series. Chauhan had not previously appeared in the series. Her addition marks a significant new entry into the franchise’s cinematic universe.
Chauhan expressed immense excitement about her new role. She shared multiple pictures on her Instagram account with a heartfelt caption.
Her post read, “Om Namah Shivay. Can’t believe it. So happy to be a part of such an incredible and transformative journey.”
She continued, “I am extremely excited to join ‘Mirzapur: The Film’ and I eagerly await all of you to see what we are going to show on screen.”
Chauhan also extended her gratitude to the production team. She thanked director Gurmmeet Singh, along with producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, and Excel Movies. “Thank you for bringing me into the world of ‘Mirzapur’. I am incredibly happy to be a part of this iconic project,” her post concluded.
