Actress Isabelle Tate has passed away at the age of 23. Her death comes weeks after an appearance on 9-1-1: Nashville.
Her agency confirmed the news on Facebook on Wednesday, October 22. They expressed deep sadness, noting Tate died on October 19.
The agency also shared that Tate had recently returned to acting. She secured her role on 9-1-1: Nashville after her very first audition, thoroughly enjoying the experience.
Tate appeared in the series premiere earlier this month. She portrayed a bachelorette party guest in a scene with Hunter McVey’s character, Blue, a stripper-turned-firefighter.

Beyond her acting, Tate had publicly discussed her struggles with a progressive neuromuscular disease. She was diagnosed with the condition at 13 years old.
In a 2022 Instagram post, Tate explained how the illness weakened her leg muscles over time. She noted that her condition had "advanced greatly" since her diagnosis.
"I have accepted that if I want to live my life to the fullest, I sometimes need to use a wheelchair," she wrote. "This has been a difficult journey for me because having to accept help and surrender to the progression of this condition has been extremely complicated."
Tate’s representatives also shared details from her obituary. The cause of her death has not been confirmed.
Her obituary described her as "full of passion, a fighter," who "never made excuses for having a disability." She loved animals, music, and spending time with family and friends, always being the "life of the party."
She further shared her perspective in the Instagram post. "I don’t know why these were the cards I was dealt in life, but I can’t change it, so I’ve decided to embrace it and not let it define me."
Tate concluded her message with a call for kindness. "You truly never know what someone else is going through, so please always be kind and compassionate."
