Television actress Dipika Kakar recently announced she has been diagnosed with liver cancer. She shared this emotional news on her YouTube channel, revealing the daily struggles she faces.
Despite her medical reports currently showing normal results, Kakar spoke about enduring constant fear, anxiety, and various physical discomforts. Her emotions fluctuate between moments of happiness and hope, and sudden waves of overwhelming fear.
Kakar detailed several physical challenges, including fluctuating thyroid levels and hormonal changes. She also experiences severely dry skin, cracked hands, pressure in her ears and throat, and dryness in her nose.
Recording the video with her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, Kakar expressed her determination not to give up. She stated that there are only two paths: to succumb to fear or to move forward with it. She chooses to keep going.
The actress also offered words of encouragement to others battling cancer. She urged them to remain strong, repeatedly tell themselves that everything will be alright, and place their full trust in Allah.
Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim married on February 22, 2018, in Maudaha, a town in Uttar Pradesh. They have a two-year-old son named Ruhaan.
