Aneet Padda, the actress who recently soared to fame with “Saiyaara,” has revealed the profound emotional impact of her newfound celebrity. The 23-year-old star confessed in a recent interview that the overwhelming love from her fanbase often brings her to tears, sometimes as frequently as once a week.
Padda, known for her sensitive nature, explained that these emotional moments are triggered by a deep sense of connection and the responsibility she feels towards her admirers. “I am very sensitive,” Padda told Grazia India. “The responsibility to do justice to the love I am receiving from fans sometimes feels heavy. It’s beautiful, but sometimes it’s too much.” This sentiment often leads her to well up when watching fan-made video edits.
Her journey to becoming an overnight sensation was not immediate. Padda began her career in modeling before making her cinematic debut in a minor role alongside Kajol in the 2022 film “Salaam Venky,” which did not bring her significant recognition. She then appeared in the 2024 web series “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” but still struggled to gain widespread notice.
It was the 2025 film “Saiyaara,” co-starring Ahaan Panday, that proved to be the turning point, transforming her into a superstar virtually overnight. The blockbuster success of “Saiyaara” dramatically shifted her career trajectory, bringing with it the intense scrutiny and adoration that now define her public life.
Looking ahead, Padda is set to tackle a leading role in the upcoming horror-comedy film “Shakti Shalini.” The movie, part of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, is anticipated for a December 2026 release. This new project indicates her continued presence in the industry, navigating the complexities of fame and artistic ambition.
