A new poster for Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film, ‘Jana Nayagan,’ has been released. This promotional move comes shortly after Tamil Nadu Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) officially announced the actor’s candidacy for Chief Minister.
KVN Productions, the film’s producers, shared the poster on their social media channels, signaling the start of the movie’s promotional campaign. The announcement from TVK regarding Vijay’s political aspirations was made on Wednesday.
The poster features Vijay portrayed as a “leader of the masses.” He is seen in a blue shirt and aviator glasses, standing amidst a crowd. This imagery aligns with his newly declared political role.

‘Jana Nayagan’ is slated for release on January 9, coinciding with the Pongal/Makar Sankranti festival. Many fans consider this film to be Vijay’s final cinematic project before his full transition into politics.
Earlier this year, the film’s first poster depicted Vijay in a denim shirt and black jeans, taking a selfie with a crowd. H. Vinoth directs the movie.
Bobby Deol and Pooja Hegde also play significant roles in the film. KVN Productions is producing ‘Jana Nayagan.’
