Recently, Sahil Khan filed a petition in the Bombay High Court seeking quashing of the FIR registered against him on online betting app Lion Book, which is believed to be related to the Mahadev petition. Sahil Khan has approached the Bombay High Court after his plea for pre-arrest bail was rejected.

Sahil Khan’s application for pre-arrest bail was rejected, following which he moved the Supreme Court. According to reports, the hearing on this case is scheduled to take place in February 2024. In his petition, Sahil has now said that he has never been associated with any betting app and termed the FIR as “false, false, fake, illegal and lodged with malicious intent”.

According to the report, the next hearing on the case is scheduled to take place in February 2024. That is why Sahil Khan has now called for the investigation against him to be suspended until the beginning of next year.

Meanwhile, police have claimed that there are more than 2,000 fake SIM cards and more than 17,000 fake bank accounts running on the applications. The report reveals further details and also states that police have stated that the scale of the fraud was enormous given the numbers.
