Acer Launches Super ZX and Super ZX Pro Smartphones in Indian Market Again

Acer has teamed up with Indikal Technologies to revive its smartphone business in India. The partnership has resulted in two new devices: the Acer Super ZX and Super ZX Pro.

The Super ZX Pro boasts a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,000 Nit peak brightness. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the device is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 chipset, built on a 4nm process and paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.

The Super ZX Pro’s camera setup includes a 64 MP primary sensor with OIS, courtesy of Sony’s LYT882 sensor, along with a 5 MP ultrawide lens and a 2 MP depth sensor. The front camera features a 13 MP OmniVision sensor. The device is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33 W charging, runs on stock Android 15, and features dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support. It also has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

Key Specifications

The Super ZX, on the other hand, is positioned as a budget-friendly option. It features a 6.7-inch LCD display with an 800 Nit peak brightness and is powered by the Dimensity 6300 chipset. The device comes with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

The Super ZX’s camera setup includes a 64 MP primary sensor using Sony’s IMX682 sensor, a 2 MP depth sensor, and a 2 MP macro lens. The front camera has a 13 MP Samsung sensor. The device also features a 5,000 mAh battery, stock Android 15, and stereo speakers.

Availability and Pricing

Both devices will be available in India on April 25, 2025. The Super ZX will start at 9,999 Indian Rupees, while the Super ZX Pro will start at 17,999 Indian Rupees.
