AC Milan closes the signing of a new goalkeeper

As reported by Sky Sports, the AC Milan has reached an agreement with the Guarani of Paraguay for the permanent transfer of Devis Vasquez. A bet of the club for the short and long term. The Colombian would join the club immediately.

Devis Vásquez, 24 years old, will have his first experience in European football after playing for several teams in his country (La Equidad and Patriotas) and being an important player in Guaraní since January 2021. He played 31 games with the first team of the Paraguayan team, in which he conceded 44 goals and left a clean sheet on 4 occasions.

The AC Milan goal has become a sensitive issue for the board due to the constant injuries to Mike Maignan. The Rossoneri team signed the experienced goalkeeper Marco Sportiello as a free agent for the next season. Vásquez would arrive to enhance the rotation, although there are many doubts about his role within the team.
